Regina worked in East Avenue Medical Center as a Staff Physical Therapist in the Pediatric Ward before she came to Shanghai. She finished a year of training from 10 different hospitals, five of which specialized in Special Education. She has worked intensively with kids who have Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Autism. Regina has acquired her certification as a Sensory Integration Specialist from the University of Southern California. She specializes in early intervention sensory assessment and treatment. Regina also has a background in Oral Motor Therapy.

Chantal Chen

Chantal Chen trained as an Occupational Therapist at Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan and obtained her Master’s degree with merit in Cognitive Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation at the University of Birmingham, UK. Prior to joining the ELG, Chantal Chen had more than 4 years of experience in the fields of Early Intervention and School Integration. She provided services which included handwriting skills training, sensory integration treatment, and training programs for fine/gross motor skills, visual-motor difficulties, and behavioral management and provided consultation and education programs for parents and teachers too. Recently, she has been studying a combination of neuroscience and occupational therapy in order to develop a more efficient and evidence-based intervention for children with special needs, based on cognitive neuropsychological research.
