Morelia Humphreys

Morelia Humphreys is a Speech Language Pathologist with a background in Human Development. She loves finding opportunities to work with children and adults to help them strengthen their speech and language skills. Her experience includes working with pre-school and school-age children to assist them in developing speech-language skills, executive-processing skills, and social skills. Morelia has a master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Utah and a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She has worked as a state licensed speech pathologist in both school and hospital settings and is currently a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Morelia joined the Essential Learning Group in 2014 and currently works with the team in Guangzhou where she continues to provide bilingual services to assist children with speech and language challenges.

Victoria Whieldon

Vicky is a member of our Guangzhou team. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Birmingham City University in Speech and Language Therapy in 2010, and has since worked in special schools, community clinics and nurseries in England. She has experience administering listening programs, language and phonological therapy and social skills training. Vicky is an expert in Pediatric Dysphagia (eating challenges), which enables her to assess children’s eating and drinking skills and recommend methods for enhancing children’s mealtime experiences. Vicky takes a total communication approach, integrating her work into classroom settings at every opportunity. She particularly enjoys work surrounding Makaton sign language, parent-child interaction and assisting children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
