Hard to believe it’s the end of the semester! We’ve had a great term so far, and look forward to continuing next year with more great community activities to celebrate our 10th anniversary.
Here are some exciting things we’ve been working on:
- Save the Date! On January 23rd, we will be hosting our 2nd Annual Community Development Day for educators in Shanghai in our Lujiazui Campus.
- Matthew Hamming, one of our Life Skills Program participants, has a brand new photo-blog, which is now live! The blog not only showcases Matthew’s beautiful photography of people, places, and experiences around the world, but it also serves as a communication tool which can follow him around wherever he goes. Photographs serve as an anchor for conversation and allow us to have a mutually shared context for communication. Check out Matthew’s blog and see the world from his artistic perspective.
- Based on our decade-long expertise working with schools in Shanghai to help children with special needs, we’ve come up with a helpful infographic for teachers in international schools and kindergartens. Here are our experts’ tips on helping children with special needs in China!
