Taotao specializes in working with preschool and school-age children, adolescents, and children with special needs. Her expertise lies in using play therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused brief therapy and person-centered therapy to support children’s development. Taotao is also trained with the SINO American Play Therapy Systematic Training Project. Prior to joining ELG, she gained experience working with children and young adults in various other roles, including being an early year bilingual teacher in the United States and China. Taotao has also been a volunteer for an NGO that supports the special needs community for over four years. Equipped with years of experience working with families from diverse backgrounds, she has gained a more comprehensive understanding of child-family dynamics that she uses to support children as they face and overcome challenges. Taotao is passionate about empowering children and youths to help them overcome psychological and social challenges through stories and play.
