Purphy is a pediatric occupational therapist dedicated to improving the lives of those in need. Her passion for working with children and teenagers was fueled in the early days of her professional career when she provided therapy to children from the orphanage and hospitals with cerebral palsy, developmental delay, and Down’s syndrome. Prior to joining ELG, Purphy worked at a medical establishment to deliver targeted treatment for children with ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities, executive functioning difficulties, and other challenging behavior. At ELG, Purphy conducts assessments and develops individualized interventions to enhance gross motor and fine motor development, sensory integration, visual-motor integration, and life-skills practice in her clients. Purphy sees each child as precious and strives to do her best to help them achieve their fullest potential.
