Mooney is a mental health counselor, conducting intake assessments and providing individual and group psychotherapy for clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal ideation, history of violence, and paranoia. She holds a person-centered approach and incorporates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to support her clients’ strengths. As Director of Services, Mooney oversees ELG’s interdisciplinary team of specialists and optimizes client experiences to provide the highest quality services for children and families in need of support. Mooney is passionate about providing resources to both local and international communities and strives to serve as a bridge between different cultures.
