Miriam is the Assistant Director of Services and a Reading Specialist at ELG. Originally from Canada, she obtained her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at McGill University. Miriam specializes in identifying more effective ways of teaching children with reading difficulties, by supporting both their reading skills and engagement with reading. She actively participates in screening children to identify their specific reading needs and in designing and implementing tailored intervention plans to meet those needs. As the Assistant Director of Services at ELG, Miriam works collaboratively with ELG’s team of interdisciplinary specialists to support the needs of families, schools, and other educational organizations. She is passionate about providing high-quality services that foster the development of individuals and the wider community.
