Leon is a licensed psychologist from Hong Kong and an associate member of the American Psychological Association. Prior to joining ELG, Leon was a guest lecturer of Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the University of Hong Kong. As an experienced counselling psychologist, Leon is trained in various evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Psychological First Aid (PFA). In addition to his clinical work, Leon is also passionate about psychosocial support in the humanitarian field and has served with several international NGOs, including Doctors Without Borders as a Mental Health Activity Manager, and at International Social Service (a global child protection and social service network) as a counselor. Leon joins ELG as warm and highly capable mental health expert and is dedicated to using his expertise to support more families.
