Heather is a registered occupational therapist from Taiwan, China. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of I-Shou in Taiwan. Prior to joining ELG, Heather gained experience as an occupational therapist at a school in Shanghai and a clinic in Taiwan. Her therapy focuses included sensory integration, gross and fine motor skills, visual perception, handwriting, and executive functions for children with ASD, ADHD, learning disorders, and developmental delays. She collaborated with teachers to facilitate classroom integration for these students. Heather has extensive experience working with children with special needs and has provided families with education on at-home rehabilitation techniques and resources. At ELG, Heather conducts assessments and develops individualized interventions to improve gross motor and fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual-motor integration, and life skills for her clients. She is passionate about empowering clients to overcome difficulties and enhance their quality of life.
