Carol is a passionate educator with a special and general education background. Carol joined ELG as a program assistant in 2007 where she discovered her love for special education. 4 years later she left for the US to pursue further education. During her time in the States, Carol worked in a public school in Massachusetts as a special education teacher and general education teacher in an inclusive classroom. Besides neurotypical children, Carol worked intensively with children with specific learning disabilities, ASD, ADHD, selective mutism, emotional difficulties, and behavior challenges. Returning to ELG, Carol brings her expertise as a program leader to develop the best intervention plan for children and leads her team to provide a warm supportive environment for families. Carol finds joy in seeing the smiles and progress of children and is committed to helping them learn and grow. She is a licensed elementary teacher in both Washington State and Massachusetts in the United States.
